Job Description

Reporting to our Chief Talent Officer, the Corporate Recruiter will be a member of a fast-paced, growing team that is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and pre-closing candidates for entry-level to senior management positions across all functional areas of the company.  This is a great opportunity for a talented person to broaden his/her recruiting skill set through exposure to a wide variety of position openings and challenge him/herself with recruitment projects that span from tactical to strategic in nature.  This position is based at our Corporate Office (HQ) in Irving (Las Colinas), Texas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Recruit passive candidates for entry-level to senior management positions at the  Corporate Office (HQ)

  • Responsible for the recruitment process life cycle including; sourcing, contacting (phone and email), interviewing (phone and face-to-face), and brokering job offers to candidates for assigned positions 

  • Assist Chief Talent Officer, Department Heads and Hiring Managers in the development of position descriptions that ensure recruitment of candidates with the most applicable skills

  • Work with Chief Talent Officer, Department Heads and Hiring Managers in the development of search strategies that target qualified passive candidates and reduce time-to-fill

  • Use a variety of sourcing methods, including database mining, internet/web searches, direct sourcing, social media, industry groups, functional groups, networks, and employee referrals to create a pipeline of “hirable” passive candidates

  • Manage recruitment projects, including salary and competitive market intelligence research

  • Keep Department Heads and Hiring Managers updated with applicable candidate and market feedback

  • Identify methods to reduce hiring time and improve candidate selection

  • Maintain accurate database of candidates in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and human resource information system (HRIS)

  • Ensure talent acquisition compliance with Cottonwood’s policies & procedures

  • Partner with Human Resources to ensure EEO compliance

  • Become recruiting subject matter expert on assigned key positions in the company

  • Annual salary of $70,000

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS 


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of corporate, executive or agency recruiting experience

  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated, multi-tasker

  • Detail oriented with a sense of urgency

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Local (Dallas/Fort Worth area) candidates only – no relocation

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and not require sponsorship in the future



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 


  • Experience in consumer finance or retail industry recruiting
